Admission & Eligibility Requirements
Admission to the Ph.D. program is strictly merit-based and follows the statutory guidelines of the affiliating university and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- Eligibility: Candidates must hold an M.Pharm or Pharm.D degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (with a 5% relaxation for reserved categories).
- Entrance Examination: Applicants must typically qualify through the APRCET (Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test).
- Selection Process: Final selection is based on the entrance rank followed by a Research Interview, where candidates present their proposed research area and demonstrate technical competence.
Academic Milestone: > To maintain global standards, every doctoral scholar is expected to publish original research in UGC-Care listed or Scopus-indexed journals prior to their final thesis submission and viva-voce.
